bird that sings
the silence of the plants
- oblivious to the storm.
You live without ground
under the sun singing
the grand illusion
of freedom...
(...with chains of air.)

Biodiversity
Our tours
Biotouring offers a range of 7 main tours and our guides lead these in a wide variety of locations. They are:
- Melodies Tour
on this tour, harmony reigns. As we progress, we will tune in to the calls and vocalizations of birds. The tour’s content is defined by the birds we hear along the way. (Daytime or nighttime) - Biodiversity Tour
this is a more general tour whose main aim is to discover the animal and plant life that surrounds us. The precise nature of the tour will depend on what we observe. (Daytime event) - Splash tour
dedicated to animals with double lives and wet skin. These are tours that require patience and slightly different searching skills, which makes them more challenging. It is carried out near bodies of water on which, of course, amphibians depend. (Daytime or nighttime) - The “Passssseio”
is also a challenge, as our scaly-skinned friends are experts at camouflaging themselves in the ground and undergrowth. Although it can be carried out in almost any location, there are certain types of terrain that this kind of fauna prefer; and it’s to those areas that we’ll go to observe them on our “Passssseio”. (In Portuguese, “tour” is translated as “passeio” and, because of the noise of some reptiles (?), we have played with the word by adding 3 more “s”) (Daytime event) - Micro-world tour
this is particularly interesting due to the size of the Arthropod group (spiders, insects and centipedes, for example). The tour can either have a broad spectrum, in which we observe all the specimens of this group that we come across; or it can be done from a less comprehensive angle, in which we focus on a particular group such as, butterflies, beetles, spiders or dragonflies. (Daytime event) - Chlorophyll Tour
this tour is 100% dedicated to our green friends, oxygen producers. From the small herb in the crack in the wall to the imposing cork oak in the forest, they all have their curiosities, ecological and human importance due to their various uses. (Daytime event)
